Christmas is just round the corner. Are you still stuck on your decoration plans? Let us see whether we can give you some ideas on how to adorn your home. Many tend to confine their decorations to a single room or yard where probably the Christmas tree is placed. That, we think, is very sober as far as the vibrant Christmas season is concerned. Blend in to the mood of Christmas and acknowledge the festivities by spreading the decoration to the whole of your home. Christmas trees and mangers can be decorated with petty gifts, mini lights and similar small ornaments. Hang various shaped stars outside your main door. Take your festival celebration beyond your living room and family room. You can also choose the most used room in the home – bathroom – for decoration. Use small, affordable embellishes like pictures and shiny balls to border your bathroom wall. If you want to be more subtle, go for special toiletries like Christmas bath towels. Or change your bathmat or shower curtain into Christmas themed one. Don’t forget the kitchen. Acknowledge the role the kitchen plays in preparing a Christmas dinner. Add merriment to the preparation using some nontoxic decorations. Go for Christmas theme potholders, over mitts, and kitchen towels. If you are ready to spent more cash, you can buy some Christmas themed kitchenware like bowls, plates, and cups that can be classified to be used for special occasions. You can go for subtle decorations for your bedroom, but children and teenagers would like some loud adornments and lightings. Hang lights around the perimeters of your child’s room, and fill the room with Christmas pictures and adornments. (Don’t forget to keep the Xmas gifts in their cupboard at the eve as well!) You can place some Christmas related cardboard cutouts in your room and also in the courtyard. They can be shapes of reindeer, Santa, snowman and angels. Show off your Christmas spirit by scattering your decoration outside the boundary of the building. There are many Christmas lights devoted to outside decorations. A few Christmas signs, large inflatable and nativity displays can come in handy.
These ideas are just a few tips. How well you utilize them will depend on your attitude, creativity and spirit of celebration. The bottom-line is to enjoy your Christmas the way you prefer.
